NEW FUNDING ANNOUNCED FOR 2018-2020
The NSW State Government has announced new funding for up to 400 NSW schools (Primary & High School) for a 2 day per week funded Student Wellbeing Support Officer.
Your Dream School Programs is pre-qualified Provider for NSW Schools under the Federal School Chaplaincy Funding and will be seeking pre-qualification as a Provider for Student Wellbeing Support Officer funding. We believe this will be a new and valuable service to NSW Schools.
Funding applications were opened during November 2017 & April 2018. If your school is still interested applying for funding please email or call our office on 1300 792 856.
The funding will be for 3 years and for successful schools to have a Student Wellbeing Support Officer for 2 days per week.

What Do Current Workers Do?
Current workers (School Chaplains) that Your Dream School Programs place in schools
provide a variety of services and each school has different needs and our workers provide
tailored responses and services to cater for school & student wellbeing needs.

What does the Chaplain do?
- work with existing programs/services in the school
- liase with school welfare team and counsellor
- work with local community groups/services
- participate in sports, camps, excursions and other activities
- mentor and support students identified with higher needs
- provide support for staff, students and parents
- assist with student-led activities
What does Your Dream Inc Do?
Your Dream Incorporated is recognised and authrosied under respective State Education Departments as a ‘School Chaplaincy Provider’ in NSW and as a 'School Chaplaincy Agency' in VIC under the NSCP.
We are mainly responsible for:
- registering the school and worker
- reporting finances to the Dept. of Education (Federal and/or State)
- recruiting potential workers
Additionally we provide all our workers with:
- individual/group training and support
- annual school seminar visits at a special discounted rate
- entry to our student leadership events
- monthly newsletters
